A device is provided for protection of a suspension electric insulator having an insulation body and end terminals and embodied for connection with elements of power units of which the lower end terminal is oblong, against electric locking by birds and/or bird's life activity of end terminals connected with an insulator of power unit elements. The device is made of a dielectric material in the form of an oblong skirt provided with a fixing element and adapted to fix thereof on an insulator or on a power unit element connected with the upper end terminal of an insulator.
