The invention relates to a method for predicting the response to radiochemotherapy with cisplatin, in the cervical cancer. According to the invention, the method consists in studies of functional genomics, based on the analysis of a gene set from the biological samples taken from patients before initiating the treatment and determining the nodal genes involved in modulating the repair of the DNA lesions induced by the therapy, by following the stages: sampling, extraction of the total RNA, microarray synthesis with mono-colour mark, slide hybridization, bio-informatic analysis for identifying the gene set of interest, analysis of the molecular functionality and establishing the prediction for the basic therapy based on the molecular result, with the possibility of selecting an individual therapy.
