METHOD FOR TREATING ENTRAPMENT OF RIGHT OVARY IN PREGNANT PATIENTS

A method for treating the entrapment of the right ovary in pregnant patients provides for laparotomy in the right iliac region after Volkovych-Diakonov taking into account the trimester of gestation. With the aid of peanut, the right ovary is passed beneath the round ligament of uterus posterior to wide ligament below plica ileo-colica to the usual anatomical site of ovary. The microscopic assessment of the right ovary is repeated. When non-reversible destructive alterations are not evident, the manipulation is finished.
