A system for automated heating of a suppressed diesel locomotive engine at idling includes two diesel liquid heaters of main and auxiliary circuits with distribution screen, additional pump for pumping cooling liquid to water system of diesel locomotive, control panel for control of heaters with indicators installed in the drivers cab and additional shutoff fittings on pipelines of cooling system for possibility of disconnection of heaters from water system. The diesel liquid heaters form a single unit, are connected to cooling systems of combustion engine and are installed in the front section of the under-cowl space of the locomotive diesel near the expansion tanks of diesel locomotive cooling system. Additionally a fuel tank is installed, and accumulator battery for intrinsic feeding with possibility of control of temperature modes of operation from the control panel that is in the drivers cab, or of complete disconnection of heaters at frost-free season.
