CHOPPER KNIFE

A chopper knife comprises a hub with a mounting bore, straight or curved blades arranged around the perimeter of hub and a thrust ring and that covers the ends of blades. The blades are arranged around the perimeter of hub within a sector with an angle of 90 ÷ 120°, whose center lies in the center of rotation the knife and which is measured from the end of turn of the chopper screw, on which the chopper knife is mounted, in the rotational direction of the chopper knife.
