Systems and methods for ranking pages and/or websites based on geo-sensitivityand distance areprovided. According to the invention, cyber-gravity can be calculated from thegeo-sensitivityindexes of the website and the query and distance between them and used torank pages and/orwebsites in location based searching. It is particularly useful in enhancingthe performance ofsearch engine results for geo-sensitive queries.
