SCIENTIFIC PHONETIC LANGUAGE BASED ON A PHONICS WHEEL

The invention provides an improved system for visually coding the text of any alphabet-based language, such that correct pronounciation of vowels and consonants is clearly indicated.This Scientific Phonetic Alphabet utalizes coloured vowel characters to indicate the correct pronounciation of vowel sounds, and striped consonant characters to indicate the correct pronounciation of irregular consonant sounds. The invention provides an improved methodology for assigning colours to distinct vowel sounds : a colour-coded Phonics Wheel of Vowel Sounds that has the appearance of the Artist's Colour Wheel. The invention provides an improved system of teaching aids, including Flash Cards,Vocabulary Charts, Phonetic Drilling Charts and Phonetic Drilling Wheels,that utalize this Scientific Phonetic Alphabet.
