Method of constructing masses of myocardial cells and use of the myocardial cell mass

It is intended to improve the post-transplantation taking rate of myocardialcells which have been purified so that they are composed exclusively of myocardialcells and free from cells originating in other species. To solve the above problem,it has been discussed whether or not a cell mass of purified myocardial cells canbe constructed. As the results, it has been clarified that the above-describedproblem can be solved by providing a method for constructing a cell of pluripotentstem cell-origin myocardial cells characterized by comprising dissociatingan aggregated cell mass containing myocardial cells, which have been differentiatedand derived from pluripotent stem cells, to give individual single cells, incubatingthe pluripotent stem cell-origin myocardial cells having been thus purifiedby using a medium under serum-free conditions and thus aggregating the cells.
