The composition includes an effective amount of chaulmoogra oil and/or the components thereof as well as an extract of Tribulus terrestris, combined in a ratio of Tribulus terrestris to chaulmoogra oil of 1:1,000 to 1:5 by weight. The invention can be used in cosmetic and dermatological compositions for treating depigmented or non-pigmented areas of the skin.
