The present invention relates to a blower unit for drying laundry which can conveniently and quickly dry laundry using hot air. The blower unit for drying laundry according to the present invention comprises: a lower case in which an air-discharge hole is formed; an upper case coupled to the lower case and protecting constituent elements installed on the top surface of the lower case, and having an air-intake hole through which air enters from the outside; a heater case installed on the air-discharge hole and having a heater built therein; and a blower fan installed above the heater case in the air-discharge hole. After air, which enters through the air-intake hole passes the blower fan, the air is heated in the heater and discharged through the air-discharge hole. According to the blower unit for drying laundry of the present invention, as opposed to the prior art, a blower fan is not disposed inside a heater case, but rather is disposed above the heater case such that the heater and the blower fan are separated, and the blower fan is prevented from being damaged by the heat generated by the heater. In particular, because air entering from the outside first passes the blower fan and then passes the heater, it is impossible for the air heated by the heater to come into contact with the blower fan, thereby completely protecting the blower fan from damage.
