The method for obtaining search resources comprises: determining a target area D; utilizing a preexisting first language resource Set(C) in the target area D, combining feature extraction technology and machine translation from the first language in to a second language to determine a second language feature vector FeaVec_F in the target area D; using feature extraction on each resource in a second language universal corpus resource database Cor(F) to obtain a feature vector FeaVec_di of each resource; selecting from the Cor(F) a resource Set D(F) between feature vectors FeaVec_ di and FeaVec_F that surpasses a preset similarity threshold T; adding SetD(F) to a search resource database RDB(C) in the target area D. The present invention provides more, higher quality search resources for the user and improves search efficiency.
