Disclosed are a server system and a method for providing information which enable both the collection and use of information using multi-dimensional codes, a system for providing multi-dimensional codes, and a method for providing multi-dimensional codes. The server system comprises: an information receiving unit which receives information related to the multi-dimensional codes by means of a user terminal, when multi-dimensional codes are recognized in the user terminal; an information processing unit which stores or updates information contained in the multi-dimensional codes and related to the user of the user terminal; and an information transmitting unit which transmits information related to a member store from among the stored or updated information to a terminal of the member store which transmits user identification information.
