METHOD, PROTOCOL, AND SMART CARD FOR BIDIRECTIONAL AUTHENTICATION BETWEEN TERMINAL AND SMART CARD

Disclosed are a method, protocol, and smart card for bidirectional authentication between a terminal and the smart card. The method for bidirectional authentication comprises: the smart card determining, on the basis of bidirectional authentication indication information of the terminal, if the terminal supports a bidirectional authentication function; and if yes, initiating a bidirectional authentication process between the smart card and the terminal. Employment of the method for bidirectional authentication of the present invention ensures security for both the terminal and the smart card, bans the smart card from logging onto network for use when being stolen or being used illegally, and locks the terminal in real time when an illegal smart card is used on the terminal, thus ensuring the security of the terminal, and ensuring the exclusiveness and security of the terminal and of the smart card carrying out Internet of Things service.
