Sweeping vehicle (10) comprising a disk brush (26) which has a brush disk (82) with brushes (84) held thereon, said brush disk being inclined relative to the horizontal; and an adjuster (92) for modifying the inclination of the brush disk (82) relative to the horizontal and for modifying the contact area of the brushes (84) with the floor surface, said adjuster comprising an adjusting element (90). The holding device (46; 150; 200) comprises an articulated polygon (56/ 174/ 212) constituted of joint limbs (58, 60, 62, 64; 176, 178, 180, 182; 202, 204, 206) which are interlinked on respective joints (69, 71, 73, 75; 169, 185, 187, 189; 209). The articulated polygon comprises a first joint limb (58/ 76/ 202) by means of which it is held on the sweeping vehicle (10), and a second joint limb (60/ 178) on which the disk brush (26) is held. The adjusting element (90) is variable in length and is connected to at least one joint limb (58/ 60 176/ 178/ 202 204/).
