The present invention relates to a graphical image processing device and method for converting a low-resolution graphical image into a high-resolution graphical image in real time. The device comprises: a first image-generating unit for generating a first image in a first frame buffer by rendering a 3D graphical model; and a second image-generating unit for generating a second image having a lower resolution than the first image in a second frame buffer by receiving, as a texture, and rendering the first image generated in the first frame buffer. According to the graphical image processing device and method, when an image is outputted to a large-scale display device, aliasing and quality degradation may be solved.
