The purpose of the present invention is to compare video at high-speed using a small amount of resources. A video processing apparatus (100) comprises a storage unit (110), an input unit (120), and an evaluation unit (130). The input unit (120) inputs a feature amount extracted from each of the frames of a new scene. The evaluation unit (130) compares the inputted feature amount with the feature amount of the representative scene (112) of the scene group (111) stored in the storage unit (110), and evaluates whether a scene indicated by the inputted feature amount is a derived scene of the scene group (111).
