The present invention provides a distributed operating network management system and a fault tolerance method thereof. The method includes: a first module operating on a first server initiates, and judges according to the operation log of the module on each server whether there is inconsistence between itself and the modules operating on other servers; if there is any inconsistence, the first module analyzes the operation log of the module which is inconsistent with itself, and makes a recovery plan according to service requirements; the first module executes the determined recovery plan, generates and updates its own operation log, and then restarts itself. The present invention determines whether there is inconsistence between each module according to the operation log of the module on each server in a distributed operating network management system, and performs automatic recovery for the existing inconsistence by making a recovery plan, which solves the fault tolerance problem of the distributed operating network management system, and avoids the occurrence of error results of distributed operation of the network management system in abnormal situations.
