HRSV F PROTEIN IN THE STABILISED PRE-FUSION STATE AND SPECIFIC NEUTRALISING ANTIBODIES AGAINST SAME

The invention relates to a fusion protein (F protein) of the human syncytial respiratory virus (HSRV) in the stabilised pre-fusion state, which can be used to identify or design antibodies and other molecules that bind thereto for the diagnosis, prevention and/or treatment of infections caused by viruses of the Paramyxoviridae family, preferably of the Pneumovirus genus and, more preferably, by HSRV. The invention also relates to a method for obtaining said protein and to the antibodies and aptamers against same, which can be used for the diagnosis, treatment and/or prevention of the aforementioned infections.
