摘要

A stereoscopic video coding device (1) receives input of a reference viewpoint video (C) and a left viewpoint video (L), with a reference viewpoint depth map (Cd) and a left viewpoint depth map (Ld) which are maps of depth values associated therewith. The stereoscopic video coding device (1) generates a left composite depth map (Md) in a middle viewpoint from the two depth maps with a depth map compositing means (12), extracts from the left viewpoint video (L) a pixel of a pixel region which forms an occlusion hole when a reference viewpoint video is projected in another viewpoint and generates a left disparity video (Lv) with a projected video prediction means (15), and respectively encodes and sends the reference viewpoint video (C), the left composite depth map (Md), and the left disparity video (Lv).
