The invention relates to a method for the qualitative and/or quantitative determination of tumour cells, comprising the steps: a) production of a dye complex consisting of aminocoumarin and cyclodextrin; b) the dye complex produced in step a) is added to the tumour cells; c) incubation of the cells with the dye complex produced in step a); d) analysis of the tumour cells using fluorescence microscopy and/or fluorescence spectrometry.
