Disclosed are an ultrasonic urinary bladder internal pressure monitor for non-invasively measuring the internal pressure of the bladder using ultrasonic waves, and a method therefor. The non-invasive ultrasonic urinary bladder internal pressure monitor comprises: an ultrasonic transducer for excitation for radiating ultrasonic waves for excitation from the abdomen outside of the bladder into the bladder so as to induce the generation of cavitation bubbles inside the bladder; an ultrasonic probe for receiving an ultrasonic backscatter signal related to the dynamic state of the bubbles generated in the bladder by transmitting a diagnostic ultrasonic pulse; an ultrasonic signal/image obtaining and analyzing unit for analyzing the dynamic characteristics of the bubbles generated in the bladder by analyzing an ultrasonic signal or image received by the ultrasonic probe until the bubbles dissipate and thereby extracting the value of variables in the characteristics; a bladder internal pressure estimating unit for estimating the internal pressure of the bladder using the extracted variables in the characteristics of the bubbles; a calibration unit for building information on the correlation between the internal pressure of the bladder and the variables in the characteristics of a bubble group, the correlation information needed for estimating the internal pressure of the bladder; and a reference pressure chamber needed for calibration.
