Provided are an aluminum-based lead or lead alloy composite anode and a manufacturing method therefor. The material of the anode is an aluminum base material. The surface of the material is rough, prickly, and provided with several linear dovetail grooves running along the lengthwise direction of the aluminum base material. The aluminum base material is covered on the exterior thereof with a covering material that is a composite material. The outer surface of the composite material is turned into an anode plate via surface augmentation processing then via shape processing. The anode plate and an electrically conductive beam form the anode via acetylene flame welding. The electrically conductive beam is casted from pure lead and copper ingots. The manufacturing method comprises: preparing and casting into a lead alloy rod material on the basis of the amount of lead or of the components of the lead alloy; processing on a surface of the aluminum base material the several linear dovetail grooves running along the lengthwise direction; deburring the surface of the aluminum base rod material having the dovetail grooves processed; introducing into a covering apparatus the aluminum base material and the lead or lead alloy rod material for covering with a lead or lead alloy covering material layer; surface augmentation processing the surface of the covering material layer immediately after the covering is completed, acquiring an arced convex-concave or zigzagging pattern; cooling to yield the composite material; turning the outer surface of the composite material into an anode plate via surface augmentation processing then via shape processing, casting the electrically conductive beam from pure lead and copper ingots, and turning the anode plate and the electrically conductive beam into the anode via acetylene flame welding.
