PURPOSE: A display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to have pixel electrodes with sectional profiles which have wave shapes or sawtooth shapes, thereby increasing brightness distribution for the entire display substrate and transmittance.;CONSTITUTION: An organic film pattern(140) is arranged on a lower substrate(110). The organic film pattern of a pixel area has a wave structure or a sawtooth structure. A first pixel electrode(145) is arranged on the organic film pattern of the pixel area. A dielectric film(150) is arranged on the first pixel electrode.
