PURPOSE: A text message processing system and a method thereof are provided to prevent decrease in the usage of text messages by increasing the transmission amount of the text message. CONSTITUTION: A legacy system(500) receives a user text message transmission request signal from an application server. The legacy system transmits a text message sending response signal to the application server according to the user text message transmission request signal. The legacy system sends the text message to the reception terminal. A DB(DataBase) server(300) generates and transmits an application authentication confirmation signal by comparing stored contents with information included in an application authentication request signal.
