PURPOSE: A calculation method for the boric acid included in a polarizing plate is provided to accurately measure a small boric acid content using UV and visible ray spectrophotometry, and to selectively measure boric acid.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method for the boric acid included in a polarizing plate comprises: a step of physically pulverizing the polarizing plate on which unreacted boric acid remains on the surface of a polarizer, and obtaining polarizer pieces in which the unreacted boron is exposed to the outside; a step of putting the polarizer pieces into a curcumin solution.
