PURPOSE: A burner boom system and a drillship including the same are provided to reduce seawater pump capacity, material costs, and required water amount for production by omitting the use of a hull deluge system and to minimize hull influence due to thermal radiation.;CONSTITUTION: A burner boom system and a drillship including the same comprise a burner boom(110) and a deluge nozzle(120). The burner boom is pivotably mounted in the stern edge of a drillship. The burner boom forms 135 degrees of work angle with respect to the longitudinal direction of a drillship hull(220). The deluge nozzle is installed to spray water towards a burner tip(114) which is equipped in the tip end of the burner boom.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
