METHOD FOR EMBEDDING SHIPBUILDING CAD SYSTEM INTO EXTERNAL APPLICATION FOR SHIPBUILDING AND SYSTEM THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A method for embedding a shipbuilding design-only CAD system in an external application program for shipbuilding and a system thereof are provided to supply a design environment for processing all tasks for design in one screen by embedding the CAD system in the external application program. CONSTITUTION: A proxy add-in(210) is loaded according to the loading of a shipbuilding design-only CAD system to receive a control command from an external application program(100) and to control the shipbuilding design-only CAD system according to the command. A CAD API(Application Programming Interface)(220) controls the shipbuilding design-only CAD system by customizing according to the control command of the proxy add-in and performs inter processor communication between the program and the system. The inter processor communication uses inter processor communication technology such as named pipe, socket communication, or WCF(Windows Communication Foundation).
