PURPOSE: A display control device for a cluster warning lamp of a vehicle for trunk emergency escape and a method thereof are provided to enable a kidnappee to safely escape in happenings of crime such as a kidnap by not displaying a warning lamp when a trunk lid is opened with an emergency escape lever.;CONSTITUTION: A display control device for a cluster warning lamp of a vehicle for trunk emergency escape and a method thereof comprise a trunk opening state detection unit(10), a control unit(12), and a display unit(13). The trunk opening state detection unit comprises a trunk latch switch(14) and an emergency escape lever switch(15). The trunk opening state detection unit detects opening state of a trunk. The control unit receives a signal from the trunk opening state detection unit. The control unit determines normal trunk opening state by a trunk opening means.
