PRIMERS FOR MOLECULAR IDENTIFICATION OF AVIAN PATHOGENIC ESCHERICHIA COLI AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING AVIAN PATHOGENIC ESCHERICHIA COLI USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A primer for rpoB amplification and sequencing and a novel APEC(Avian Pathogenic Escherichia Coli)-specific rpoB base sequence are provided to classify and identify pathogenic E.coli. CONSTITUTION: A method for identifying genotype of APEC comprises: a step of amplifying whole sequence of RNA polymerase beta subunit(rpoB) gene of APEC; a step of sequencing total sequence of the amplified rpoB gene; and a step of comparing the sequence with a base sequence of rpoB gene of a standard strain, and determining genotype. The whole sequence of rpo gene is amplified using a primer pair with base sequences of sequence numbers 1 and 2. The sequence is performed using one or more kinds of primers selected from the group consisting of sequences of sequence numbers 3-9.
