MISMATCH COMPENSATION METHOD FOR A HARMONIC ELIMINATION MIXER STRUCTURE, CAPABLE OF INDEPENDENTLY ESTIMATING SIGNAL SIZE MISMATCH AND SIGNAL PHASE MISMATCH THROUGH ONE RELATIONAL EQUATION
MISMATCH COMPENSATION METHOD FOR A HARMONIC ELIMINATION MIXER STRUCTURE, CAPABLE OF INDEPENDENTLY ESTIMATING SIGNAL SIZE MISMATCH AND SIGNAL PHASE MISMATCH THROUGH ONE RELATIONAL EQUATION
PURPOSE: A mismatch compensation method for a harmonic elimination mixer structure is provided to rapidly compensate for mismatch and to reduce calculation time for estimating the mismatch.;CONSTITUTION: A mixing device comprises mixers (121, 122, 123, 124), analog-to-digital converts (ADC) (131, 132, 133, 134), a mismatch compensation unit (140), a selector (150), and a mismatch estimation unit (160). A mixer-1 (121) generates an I-signal. A mixer-2 (122) generates a P-signal. A mixer-3 (123) generates a Q-signal. A mixer-4 (124) generates an X-signal. An ADC-1 (131) executes A/D conversion for the I-signal. An ADC-2 (132) executes the A/D conversion for the P-signal. An ADC-3 (133) executes the A/D conversion for the Q-signal. An ADC-4 (134) executes the A/D conversion for the X-signal. The mismatch compensation unit outputs mismatch between the I-signal and the X-signal by compensating for the signal phase mismatch. A selection unit selects two signals outputted from the mixers and applies the two signals to the mismatch estimation unit. The mismatch estimation unit estimates the signal phase mismatch and signal size mismatch between the signals outputted from the mixer selected by the selection unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (140) Mismatch compensation unit; (150) Selector; (160) Mismatch estimation unit
