METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EFFICIENT SEARCHING USING CLUSTER BASED DHT

PURPOSE: An effective content searching method and apparatus thereof using cluster based DHT(Distributed Hash Table) technique are provided to decrease DHT maintenance cost even in the case when a terminal including multiple interface changes connection network. CONSTITUTION: A first terminal transmits a request message requesting DHT ID used in a DHT network to a node(S501). The first terminal receives a response message including the DHT ID from the node(S502). A second terminal already existing in the DHT network and the first terminal exchange information about the managed content(S504,S505). The DHT ID includes cluster ID of a cluster including the node and MAC(Medium Access Control) address of the first terminal. The cluster includes more than two nodes.
