PURPOSE: A correction system and method for errors in a thermometer are provided to easily check errors in a thermometer by measuring temperature of a heating means included in a temperature generator using the thermometer. CONSTITUTION: An infrared sensor(12) is included in a case(11). A control unit is connected to the infrared sensor. A thermometer(10) is formed on one side of the case. The thermometer includes a display unit(16) connected to the control unit. A reference temperature generator(20) includes a heating means(22) generating heat at predetermined temperature.
