PURPOSE: A composition is provided to contribute to growth by activating skeletal growth and metabolism of children and teenagers in a balanced way by using a natural product. CONSTITUTION: A composition for promoting growth and development of children and teenagers comprises 5 to 20 wt% of a marsh snail powder, 5 to 20 wt% of sea tangle extract, 20 to 30 wt% of Injin wormwood extract, 20 to 30 wt% of chlorella, and 20 to 30 wt% of seaweed calcium based on 100 wt% of a total weight of the composition. The composition for promoting growth and development of children and teenagers further comprises at least one component selected from Dioscorea rhizoma extract, extract of acanthopanax, malt extract, Aurantii nobilis Pericarpium extract, radish seed extract, ponciri fructus extract, extract of schisandra chinensis, wild field berry extract, longan extract, extract of Angelica gigas Nakai, extract of cortex eucommiae, chinese quince extract, Phlomidis Radix choo choo excrescence, Bombycis Corpus extract, extract of puerariae radix, balloon-flower extract, Jujube extract, Glycyrrhiza extract, peppermint extract, and dried deer extract. The composition is a health promoting food in the form of a powder, a granule, a tablet, a capsule, or a beverage.
