摘要

PURPOSE: A method for simulation of virtual character steering behaviors using a 2d texture image-based attractive field, an apparatus thereof, and a virtual ecology park visualization system using the same are provided to develop autonomic behaviors of a virtual character using a 2D texture-based attractive field, thereby handling the virtual character in real time even when the interaction range and the number of autonomic agents of the virtual character increase. CONSTITUTION: An attractive field generating module(40) generates an attractive field based on definitions by a user. A navigation field generating module(42) generates a navigation field by mapping attractive filed data which is loaded from an attractive field database(30) on agent data which is loaded from a virtual character database(20). A steering behavior module(44) calculates steering force based on the data generated by the navigation field generating module, elemental behaviors, and the internal state of the agent in the virtual character database.
