PURPOSE: A lens for ECD(Electron Capture Dissociation), a FT-ICR MS(Fourier Transform Ion Cyclotron Resonance Mass Spectrometer) with the same, and a method for improving signals of the FT-ICR MS are provided to increase probability of an interaction between an electron and an molecular ion by increasing a collision area between the electron and the molecular ion, thereby obtaining an advantage to improve ECD fragment ion signals in the FT-ICR MS.;CONSTITUTION: A lens for ECD comprises a first electrode(211), a second electrode(212), a third electrode(213), and a fourth electrode(214). The first and second electrodes are arranged by being mutually spaced in a first direction(D1). The third and fourth electrodes are arranged by being mutually spaced in a second direction(D2). The first and second electrodes are arranged inside a space where a magnetic field is formed in the first direction, thereby trapping electrons. The third and fourth electrodes apply a magnetic field of the second direction to the trapped electron. The first and second electrodes include holes, respectively.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
