PURPOSE: An exterior glass support structure for a building in which transparent performance is improved is provided to improve an exterior of the building by supplying a structure capable of preventing rigidity degradation and by improving the transparent performance of a patch plate supporting rib glass.;CONSTITUTION: An exterior glass support structure for a building in which transparent performance is improved comprises exterior glass, rib glass (20), a metal support body, a base frame (40), a patch plate (50), and a buffer member (60). The metal support body connects the rib glass and the exterior glass. The base frame comprises a support beam structure of the building and comprises a post plate (41). The patch plate is comprised as a laminating structure of a three layer form by combining polycarbonate (52) with between two transparent glass plates (51).
