PURPOSE: A biometric information recognition-based digital signature method, a method for verifying an electronic document digitally signed, a device using the same, a server using the same, and a computer-readable recording medium thereof effectively secure the integrity of an original document of an electronic document including a biometric information recognition-based digital signature for the time when the original's authenticity is questioned.;CONSTITUTION: A biometric information obtaining unit (110) obtains biometric information to be included in an electronic document or feature information about the biometric information. A biometric information processing unit (120) encodes the biometric information, the feature information, hash values for the electronic document's original, or timing information about the time when the biometric information and the feature information are obtained with a biometric reference.
