FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: reaction cartridge comprises a first zone wherein a first reagent flows and selectively reacts with glycated haemoglobin and a blood sample; a second zone wherein a washing solution flows; a measurement zone for measuring total haemoglobin in a blood-containing compound representing a reagent mixed with the blood sample, and for measuring the amount of glycated haemoglobin in the blood-containing compound with a possibility to remove glycated haemoglobin due to washing the blood-containing compound by the washing solution. The cartridge is rotational and moves the blood sample, the reagent and the washing solution for removing glycated haemoglobin from the blood-containing compound between the cartridge zones while rotating the cartridge.
