FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to industrial ecology. The sorbent is obtained from epichlorohydrin production wastes. The wastes are fed for polycondensation with sodium polysulphide Na₂S_n(n=3-4) in the presence of petcoke particles with diameter of 0.15 mm or less. Sodium polysulphide is obtained by reacting elementary sulphur and sodium hydroxide in aqueous hydrazine hydrate solution.
