The timepiece has a rotative mobile i.e. balance, provided with a pivot shaft mounted between bearings that are secured to a plate (1) and a bridge. A fastening screw fastens the bridge on the plate, and a tubular adjustment member tightly adjusts a distance between the bridge and the plate. The adjustment member is provided with a threaded portion screwed into the bridge. The member includes a wheel (9b) located between a base (2b) of the bridge and the plate. The wheel is mounted to rotate around an axis perpendicular to the plate so as to be actuated laterally. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting a distance between a bridge and a plate of a timepiece.
