The method involves passing hot exhaust gas discharged from drive (2) to a cooling device (40) through a primary exhaust pipe (3) so as to cool the hot exhaust gas and to attain the exhaust gas temperature less than 100[deg] . The cooled exhaust gas is sent from cooling device to a suction device (42) via a suction line (41) so as to reduce the pressure of the exhaust gas and to attain the exhaust gas pressure of 50-900 hPa. The exhaust gas of reduced pressure is discharged from suction device through a suction outlet (43). An independent claim is included for device for increasing efficiency of drive.
