The device (1) has an outwardly adjustable engaging element (8) such as a snapping element e.g. bolt, engaging behind at a hole (10) in an opened rear side of a toilet bowl (2) for rotationally-fixed fastening of the device in the opened rear side. The engaging element is outwardly moved by a threaded hole and a screw (16). A plate-like wedge is transversely moved in a base body (5) by rotating the screw. The sanitary object is moved against a wall by a slider and a set screw. The slider and the set screw secure the snapping element in an engaging position.
