The hydrostatic drive unit (1) has a motor housing (3) that is suspended from a support flange (5) for decoupling solid-borne sound of the motor housing by a vibration damping unit. Several protruding spigots (100a,100b) are rotatably mounted into central recess of rotating cylinder drums of axial piston motors using bearings. The cylinder drums are coupled with drive shafts (7a,7b) of the axial piston motors as plug shaft which is rotatably supported in the motor housing using the bearings.
