The device (10) has a cable (24) guided through a passage recess (22) of a housing (12) from an outside space into a housing inner space. A wall i.e. diagonally oriented seal lip, is arranged on the passage recess at the housing and points into the housing inner space. The wall surrounds a feedthrough space through which the cable is guided. A case i.e. annular element, is positioned in the housing inner space and comprises a case inner space by which the cable is conducted, where the case inner space is connected with the cable and the wall. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an electric device.
