The transmitter (1) has a piston (30) mounted in a cylinder (100) in a displaceable manner. A position of the piston is controlled by a hand lever (130) in the cylinder. A fixing element comprises a clamping part (110) that is shaped in a complementary manner with respect to an inner cross-section (20) of a handlebar (2). The clamping part is equipped in the handlebar by an internal clamping that is mediated by a clamping device arranged on a circumferential surface of the fixing element. A slider is displaceable in axial direction and in contact with a clamping wedge.
