摘要

The method involves providing tubular base support portion made of carrier material which is provided with central portion (1a) and two end portions (1b,1c). A functional layer (2) arranged on the central portion is provided with cathode (2a) and anode (2b) between which electrolyte unit (2') is arranged. The functional layer adjacent to surface of the end portion (1b) is coated with layer (3) comprising ceramic and glass particles. The pores of the tubular base support portion are sealed gas-tight by the layer comprising ceramic and glass particles. An independent claim is included for tubular fuel cell.
