The variable-stroke valve train (1) has pivot lever (2) supported by rolling element (3) having swing fulcrum (3') on slide track (4') of crank (4), and intermediate element (5) on control track. The pivotal lever is swingable between support points of cam (6') of cam shaft (6) against force of spring (7), and oscillation pivot is displaceable by eccentric cam (8') of eccentric shaft (8) for stroke length parallel to slide track. The cam and eccentric shafts are mounted on common shaft support (9) mounted or integrated to support element (10) which is fitted in cylinder head (11).
