The method involves bringing the cold water for the cleaning of an outer pipe system. The cold water is pushed through the outer pipe system and nozzles (9) by using compressed air. The water and air mixture strikes a to-be-cleaned object by specially arranged nozzles. The water, which is suitable for internal cleaning, is brought into an internal pipe system. The water is pressurized using the compressed air and is pushed through a transmission channel (10) and a spray channel (11). The outer and inner supply pipes (1,4) are heated for cleaning and disinfection. An independent claim is included for an apparatus for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, cooling and maintenance of transfer instruments, medical instruments and tools, such as hairdressers with a sterilization chamber.
