The device (10) has a shaft connector (12) connected with a shaft (26), and a hub connector (14) connected with a hub (28) that is arranged on the shaft. A measuring unit (16) measures twist between the shaft and hub connector and includes an end (20) that is fastened to the shaft connector. Another end (22) is fastened to the hub connector and spaced at distance from the former end, and a deformation element (24.1a) measures the deformation of flat spring elements (18.1-18.3).
