The arrangement (1) has two closure elements together forming the closure of belt (4). The closure elements are spaced apart and arranged in a central position (G), when the vehicle seat (2) is not used. The closure elements are connected with each other in a safety position, such that an occupant is strapped securely in the vehicle seat. A belt conveyor (9) is set with an active actuator (10) which is adapted to an occupied vehicle seat, if the closure elements are latched in the safety position or the closure elements are transferred to an intermediate position.
